Mapping Lunar Albedo

Using a mosaic from Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Wide-Angle Camera (LRO WAC), I put together a small gallery of some alternate color schemes showing lunar albedo (or reflectance).

The base B&W image is openly available by LRO, and maps lunar albedo without taking into account shadows caused by topography.  The colors represent different rock material on the Moon's surface, which reflect sunlight at different values.

Most of these are just for fun, but I chose color schemes using Kuler and ColorHunt, sticking to ones that are colorblind-friendly -- a quality I'm surprised is not discussed more in regards to scientific graphic design.

Which do you like best?
