Coffee... the fuel of scientific discussion

Coffee provides not only caffein and aroma to invigorate the mind. It also provides a meeting point for scientific discussion and a focal point to encourage the interaction between scientists. And maintaining the equipment is part of that.

Recently, the "machine that solves equations" had to be retired due to over-use. However, in true scientific spirit, we have replaced with a new machine, which solves equations faster, and better with more precision and the ability to simultaneously operation multiple experiments, thus serving the user community and provided added-value for the leveraged stakeholders.

Oh, and we need auxiliary instrumentation too.

Today's photograph is of two of the academics working on deriving the optimal grind-quality for the standard physics coffee beams. It is important work.
